The price is close to Arturia Pigments and a lot less than Omnisphere 2 and the Komplete 12 users got it at no extra cost. If you want to augment your already great plug-in library, I still think you NEED Komplete 12. If all you have are the built-in sounds, then you NEED Komplete 12.
